About Me

About Me

Let me introduce myself. I am Allyson: stay at home mom to the beautiful Gem, wife to a pharmacist and husband extraordinaire, and confused millennial. I began crocheting after my daughter was born so that I could make my own chew-safe necklaces in colours and styles I enjoy. From there, I started crocheting all sorts of things, but have returned to necklaces as I’ve realized other people might enjoy them, too! I’ve lived all over Canada, and I love that I can now call Nova Scotia home. I absolutely love the ocean, and can’t get enough of the beach in the summer.
I have a biology degree, spent years dissecting snail brains, and look fabulous in chest waders, but also love to curl up inside with an audiobook and my crochet hooks. I love Jesus, and my faith is what keeps me going through this crazy life.
I’ve lived in the Port Hawkesbury area for a year and a half, and I’m so excited to meet more people in our community!
